BYJ is known as the majority shareholder in the entertainment firm, KeyEast. He has achieved success in both the entertainment and business worlds, and in 2007, it was reported in Korea that his income from the TWSSG drama and CMs was 43 billion won. These numbers alone should be enough to satisfy him but not BYJ, as we also cannot forget that he now walks the road as an industrialist.
Regarding his views on business development, it is simply not a case of making money, but that he has a resolute business philosophy. The Korean traditional restaurant, Gosireh, which opened in Japan, is one part of that connection, and with the comment he made about “having an interest in environmental and health issues”, he is planning restaurant openings overseas and developing franchises.
Though he is also an actor, BYJ has achieved recognition as an industrialist. Achieving success as a businessman seems to be a constant always within his sight.

There are many people that believe that BYJ can exert a strong influence in politicssince he possesses popularity not only in Korea and Japan but throughout all of Asia.For example, like Mr Hideo Higashikokubaru (governor of Miyazaki Prefecture) who has been working to promote the image of Miyazaki Prefecture, if BYJ were to promote Korean culture and the latest trends, then the road to him becoming a politician could be considered.
But this is only an if.
But the important thing is if he really has the desire to become a politician and his reply is “No.” The possibilities of him switching careers to become a politician are, we must say, very low.
In past remarks about politicians, BYJ said this.During the production press conference for AS, he was asked for his thoughts on the 'Dokdo issue' between Japan and Korea and he announced that he would reveal his thoughts at a later time.

The next step we can expect for BYJ is that of producer. As mentioned in the beginning of this article, PD Kim and BYJ share a 'parent and child' relationship and they know each other’s true nature. If this is the case, then the possibility of them taking part in some kind of drama or film directing project has us thinking….
BYJ’s view which is to move away from 'hallyu' toward the 'Asian wave', will give us no doubt a different angle from which to enjoy Yonsama as he appears in dramas and films.

Also, at a fan meeting which would probably be held at some future date, we can probably expect to hear him display his singing voice.
On an Internet forum in Japan, there was this posting. “I want to hear YJ singing. Knowing what a perfectionist YJ is, he’ll probably sing perfectly too.”BYJ is known for his soft, low-pitched trademark voice. If he were to sing ballads, the world’s Yonsama fans would end up hopelessly in love with him
Such a time will probably come one day, but for those people who are saying, “We can’t wait until then!”It’s fun to go back and watch BYJ in the role of musician. In the drama Barefooted Youth, BYJ appears as Yusuk, the musician always seen carrying a guitar. In episode three, we can see him play just a bit of the guitar. It is a scene where we wish we could hear him singing also but the guitar performance was a new experience.
Whatever happens, there is a possibility that actor BYJ could release a CD, but we can only believe this is a still something that will take pl*ace in the far off future….
