Bae Yong Joon Confirms Participation in Kami no Shizuku Drama Adapation

Hallyu star Bae Yong Joon has confirmed that BOF will produce the drama adapation of popular Japanese manga, Kami no Shizuku and he will act in it.

BOF recently acquired the rights with the author of Kami no Shizuku and Bae Yong Joon will thus be involved with the drama production. Kami no Shizuku was an item that BOF have been actively pursuing for the past few months. Bae Yong Joon had revealed to reporters then about his plans for a drama adapation of Kami no Shizuku when he was in Japan in early June to promote “The Legend”. During his time in Japan, he took time out to liase with the manga’s author personally and discuss about the rights and related matters.

The drama adapation of Kami no Shizuku is expected to begin filming in the earlier part of 2009 and will aim to not just broadcast in Korea, but possibly Japan, China, Asian markets and even worldwide. The drama is now attracting lots of attention in Japan, China and other Asian countries already.

Kami no Shizuku sees a young man, Shizuku Kanzaki competing against his adoptive brother, Issey Tomine for his father’s 12 wines whic he considers to be the best in the world, comparing them to Jesus Christ’s disciples. It’s understood that the manga’s author is a Bae Yong Joon fan and one of the roles in the manga was actually created after Bae Yong Joon himself.

Fans of Bae Yong Joon will be highly anticipating this drama adapation for he will be taking on three roles in the production, the planner, the producer and actor.

When Bae Yong Joon’s birthday is over, autumn is coming near

I wonder if Seoul is ahead of time for the arrival of autumn. Thirty six years ago, in the beautiful and quiet autumn, baby BYJ, with his eyes wide open to identify the sounds he had heard in his omma’s womb, listening carefully, and starting to meet the world. In the autumn sunshine, wriggling his hands and feet, he must have been absorbed in his first impressions and sight of the world.

With the heat, sudden downpour, and thunder, the summer warns us of the violent power of nature, but it is coming to an end soon. I can hardly wait for the peaceful and beautiful autumn.

Re-watching Jaeho, it popped into my mind, that I always care only about BYJ. Even when Shinhyung is crying, those eyes of lonely Jaeho make me want to embrace him. No matter how much Yujin sheds tears, by a string of tears of Junsahng, I am overwhelmed with emotion. Even Seoyeong is in sad tears holding her cellphone, Insoo, who dissolves into tears with a noble runny nose is irresistible. Even as sweet Sujini is admirable, I worry much about the sleepless Paeha.

BYJ who shows up to exceptionally loud screams for the premiere of SJS’s movie, strides forward showing his overwhelming presence. He changes his sunglasses for the regular glasses, through which we see his eyes.

The same ^ ^ eyes as those we find in BYJ’s letter we had read just recently.

The same ^ ^ eyes as those we find in the picture of smiling pre-school boy.

As if he embraces his younger brother SJS, he smiles with the ultimate gentle eyes.

But how come I feel a lump in my throat? His gentle eyes are way too pure and vulnerable. His sweet smile brings me painful longing and I can’t take my eyes off him. I haven’t seen a man who smiles with such eyes.

Everyone finds him most trustworthy, I know, but...

YJ is a good person who reassures us thatwhatever he does, he does it right, I know but…

He is well-built, having sharp wit, delicate sensibility, a good imagination and is sharp and astute in many aspects, I know.... but

Seemingly, he is a fragile person with exquisite sense, yet he is strong enough never to be struck down, I know but…

Different people say different things about BYJ, but BYJ is my only concern.

I constantly think and wonder about why BYJ attracts so many people. His charms have been told enough by now, however, there is always something calm, introvert, lonely about BYJ. No matter how great the power he possesses, BYJ has something only unique to him, which remains the same for good.

This may be a whimsical speculation of mine, an image that we have created, but yet I can surely feel it. This is how we actually see him in a true sense.

I wonder if BYJ is now happily reading ideas and opinions which must be pouring into his office, and getting his cameras ready.

I really look forward to his introduction of the scenic beauty of Korea… but, come to think of it,

แต่ละคนต่างก็มีมุมมองเกี่ยวกับ เบ ยง จุน ที่แตกต่างกันออกไปแต่เบ ยง จุนก็ยังคงเป็นคนๆเดียวที่ฉันห่วงใยใส่ใจ ฉันคิดและสงสัยมาโดยตลอดว่าเหตุใด เบ ยง จุนจึงสามารถดึงดูดผู้คนจำนวนมากมายได้เช่นนี้
